This explains what we collect, why, who else processes it, and how to get it back or delete it.

What we collect

• Your CV and profile. The CV file you upload and the details parsed from or entered into it: name, email, phone, location, work history, education, skills, links.
• Your preferences. Target roles, locations, match strictness, job freshness.
• Your activity. Which jobs you were shown, which applications were prepared or sent, and their outcome where an employer tells us.
• Account and security data. Email, password hash, sign-in timestamps, and a log of sensitive actions such as starting an application run.

What we do with it

We use your CV and profile to match you to openings and to write a CV tailored to each specific opening. When you enable applying, we submit that application to the employer as you, which necessarily means your name and contact details are sent to that employer. That is the purpose of the product.

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

Who else processes your data

• Creem.io is our Merchant of Record. It processes your payment details and billing information. We never see or store your card number.
• An AI model provider processes your CV and the job description in order to write the tailored CV.
• An email provider sends account email such as verification and password resets.
• A proxy provider carries application traffic so submissions originate from a network location appropriate to the role.
• Employers receive the applications you authorise, through their own application systems.

Legal basis

We process your data to perform the contract you entered into when you signed up, and on the basis of the explicit authorisation you give when you enable applying.

Your rights

You can export everything we hold about you and delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings. Deletion is immediate and permanent, and includes your CV file, profile, job history and application records. If you are in the EU or UK you also have the right to object, to restrict processing, and to complain to your supervisory authority.

Retention

We keep your data until you delete your account. Records that we are legally required to retain, such as billing records held by Creem.io, are kept for the period the law requires.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Each account's data is isolated at the database level so one account cannot read another's. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text.
